This was our last night in Nafplio and so far had not been
impressed by our previous dinners at other places. This
place was chosen based on TA reviews.
Right on the main street so very easy to find. Tables inside
and out. A small place with friendly, efficient service.
Not having gotten used to late night dining-which we will
come to find so common as our stay in Greece continues-my
husband and I arrive early at around 8:00 pm and are the
onlyones at this restaurant. I order the stuffed wine leaves
andmy husband also orders a Greek salad. I decide to try
Greekcoffee. Ugh-it's too thick and strong for me. Husband
opts for Mythos-good choice! We have bread also. The stuffed
wine leaves are filled with minced meat and rice. The sauce
contains lemon, tarragon and other flavors I can't place.
It's delicious. Best dinner we've had so far on this, our
3rd night in Greece and last in Nafplio. Meal comes with
french fries-crisp and a good potato flavor.
Cost of our meal was very reasonable-least expensive of
our 3 dinners-24 euros total for the 2 of us-tip included.
We knew we were early because not only were we the only
diners there but as we ate, staff/family members were
coming into the place with bags of produce, food stuffs
for the evening. As our stay in Greece lengthened we ended
up eating dinner later so that by the end of our month we
were eating dinner at 10:00 pm with everyone else!!
Would definitely return to dine at this establishment.

We just happened upon this restaurant and were
so delighted that we stayed. We had the chicken in Ouzo
along with the spicy pork and a beet and smoked
herring salad all of which were delicious. Music playing
in the background, a very friendly host, good wine and
a nice outside setting made for a lovely evening.
